Koya University is a public university and admission to its program is selected through Central Admission Office via ZankoLine an online university application, regulated by Ministry of Higher Education (MHE). The Committee on Admission selects students on the basis of academic achievements, character, maturity, and motivation. In rendering decisions, the Committee evaluates the applicant's entire academic record, advisory committee evaluations & letters of recommendation, healthcare & leadership experiences, essays, and the personal interview. For the 2014 -2015 entering class, 34 applicants were admitted. The applicants who enrolled had final total mark between 696.13 and 703.00. As non-discrimination policy Koya University admits qualified students of any sex, race, disability, religion, colour, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the university. It does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, color, national or ethnic origin, marital status, family responsibility, matriculation, place of residence, personal appearance, veteran status, or irrelevant physical or mental disability in administration of its educational or admission policies, scholarship and other programs administered by the School.
